Earth Day

“When the blood in your veins returns to the sea, and the earth in your bones returns to the ground, perhaps then you will remember that this land does not belong to you, it is you who belong to the land." 

Yesterday was Earth Day. I went for a nice walk in the rain with my pup. I spent a lot of time throughout the day reflecting on how lucky I am to have seen so much of the world already. I am glad Mother Earth is getting this time to rest. She deserves it.
